The information asset that the Gennius platform creates is a Patient Registry Warehouse.

The registry is a longitudinal, comprehensive view of patient care.  It draws from all available sources, links data into an integrated view, and stores both the underlying care data and analytic results as data elements available for subsequent analysis.  Data is captured and stored at a patient level because that is the unit of action and improvement required.  Analysis can then aggregate that data into larger analytic groups—e.g. patients in a disease population or patients of a physician—as needed for different processes.

The value of the registry is enhanced by the process of evaluation and storing of analytic results. As data is loaded, each data element is evaluated against a set of criteria – Is this element part of a larger set that is used for stratification?  Is this element part of the criteria inclusion for a performance measure?—and the resulting true/false evaluation is also stored as a unique data element.  This additional enriched data is then available across analytic processes.  The result is that the Gennius Patient Registry Warehouse is pre-structured for analysis—making both system performance (time to generate an answer) and user experience (time to formulate and execute a question) dramatically improved.
