The Gennius Metrics Intelligence Platform is a business intelligence software solution that can support multiple data sources and quality improvement processes delivering the capabilities required to manage performance as well as optimize health care quality and value in delivery. 

  • genniusThe system has a pre-structured matrix of healthcare data values sets and methodologies to group those value sets as objects assessible for analytic purposes across its business intelligence framework.

  • The system matrix also structures standard healthcare data elements reflecting their conventions and requirements.

  • The system matrix structures these value sets and fields within system measurement objects that organize analytical steps and criteria in a transparent and accessible logic expression.  Meaningful Use, PQRI, and HEDIS measures are already structured in the system as a starter set.

  • The system evaluates to this data criteria finding true/false on the individually expressed logic items.

  • The system evaluates to attribution logic separately but in a manner that is mechanically similar to criteria found to be true/false.

  • Summarizing this evaluation, the system prepares and stores trended attributed mart results on the patient – provider – quality level.

  • The system generates aggregated results across levels, clinical dimension, patient characteristics, and time elements.

This end-to-end software platform can be deployed on either an enterprise install or a hosted environment.  The system’s Java-code structure can be adapted to operate on multiple database systems.  Microsoft SQL-Server is the default system for Gennius implementations.
